Gorgeous countryside views, Period features in architecture, Inviting decor that reflects country aesthetics
Navigating to the hotel and checking in felt unclear!!! Room maintenance could use more attention, as taps were hard to turn and water pressure inconsistent!!!

Lovely stay with a cozy vibe
Had a fab time here! The room was super comfy with a massive bathroom and a garden view. Dinner was delicious, especially the desserts! The decor was so charming, and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially when our car broke down on the way. Just wish breakfast started a bit earlier, but all good!

Had an awesome trip with a group of friends! We hit up the nearby Flamingo Land Theme Park and also enjoyed a relaxing wine tasting at a local vineyard. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were super friendly. Breakfast choices were great, and the views were lovely, perfect for a chill getaway.
The only downside was the lack of a shower cap in the bathroom, which would have been handy given the overhead shower.

Absolutely charming stay! My room was spacious with lovely decor, and the garden view was just enchanting. The dinner was delightful—those desserts were calling my name!
The only downside? I nearly sprained my ankle finding the front door at night—who needs lights when you’ve got a phone torch?

I recently enjoyed a lovely stay at a charming country manor that exuded vintage beauty and comfort. Set in stunning rural surroundings, the place offered a peaceful retreat while being conveniently close to attractions like a local vineyard. The staff were wonderful, adapting meals for my dietary preferences without any fuss, which made my experience incredibly pleasant. The overall decor and cozy atmosphere had me feeling right at home.

missingWrote a review on 05 Julcomfortable doublecharming periodbathroom design
The breakfast boasts perfectly poached eggs, though a buffet would've been appreciated for more variety. The Standard Double Room offers a charming blend of comfort and period features, providing a cozy retreat during the stay.
The bathroom setup has some quirks. the slipper bath is deep without any handholds, making it a bit tricky for older guests to enter safely. There’s also no space for toiletries while showering, forcing you to leave them on the floor. A preference for mugs instead of cups for tea or coffee would enhance the room experience, and the shower curtain tends to block the plug hole during use. some will find the absence of a walk-in shower a drawback, especially if accessibility is a concern. these minor inconveniences didn’t ruin the stay but could be improved for comfort.

Charming countryside retreat with exceptional staff
I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay in a Superior Double Room, where the warm hospitality of the staff, especially Alison, made us feel right at home. The meals were superb, particularly the breakfast with locally sourced ingredients, and we loved curling up by the real fire in the cozy lounge. The beautiful countryside views were a bonus, although I believe the bathroom amenities could use an upgrade for a more luxurious feel.
